I just love it when liberals tell us what we can and can't buy, what we can and can't watch, and what we can and can't do, don't you?
Well now the liberals, who always show such restraint when criticizing Conservatives, are telling us what we can't say.
Check these commercials out. They're so gay.
Hey Hillary and Wanda, why don't you stop eavesdropping on other people's conversations and then butting in with your opinions? When you act like a pompous ass, do you realize what you do? Knock it off!
Maybe I should start an ad campaign. You think?

Less of them
Anyone with an ounce of integrity knows you don’t raise taxes in a recession. Yet Obama is doing that with both Obamacare and Cap and Trade. Everyone knows you don’t put more pressure on small business during a recession. Yet the Democrats are doing that by raising minimum wage.
Everyone knows the way you stimulate an economy is by freeing up American ingenuity and entrepreneurial spirit. You lower taxes; you create incentive to hire new workers; you let the people decide what to do with their money, not the government. It has been proven that these things stimulate economies.
Yet Obama and the Democrats are doing exactly the opposite of what should be done.
Why?
If more people are out of work, who do they look to for assistance?
If more people are out of work, thus losing their HEALTH CARE, who do they look to for assistance?
People being out of work seem to be the key to enacting everything Obama wants to accomplish.
More control over our lives. Because THEY know better than WE do. And apparently there is a large portion of our population that believes that very thing because they vote for those pompous politicians over and over again.
And it’s not just Democrats. There have been plenty of infuriating politicians with an (R) after their name. Ah-nold… Bloomberg… McCain… All think that THEY know better.
Is that what we really want? To have the government tell us what’s best for us? Has anyone else noticed that government is full of people who cheat on their spouses, cheat on their taxes, try to sell Senate seats, give themselves raises… do I really need to go on?
They know nothing. It’s time we had LESS of them and MORE of freedom again.

Maureen Dowd is my HERO
I love Maureen Dowd. I'm sure there are Conservatives out there mad as hell about her recent editorial in the New York Times titled White Man's Last Stand, but I think it's absolutely wonderful. It admits everything we've been saying about Obama and Sotomayor all along.
I love this part:
See, liberals look at the Constitution as it was originally written and they see flaws that need to be fixed.
We all know why Sotomayer is hiding who she really is and how she really thinks. It's because the majority of Americans don't agree with her and therefore she would never be confirmed. If the majority of Americans really felt that empathy was needed in the highest court in the land rather than just applying the law, don't you think Obama and Sotomayor would be waving that around like a banner? They aren't. She's trying to sound like John Roberts, not Sonia Sotomayor.
So I say "Thank you" Ms. Dowd, you liberal lunatic, you. At least you have more guts than Obama and Sotomayor. You actually admit to the insanity you believe in.
I love this part:
President Obama wants Sotomayor, naturally, to bring a fresh perspective to the court. It was a disgrace that W. appointed two white men to a court stocked with white men. And Sotomayor made it clear that she provides some spicy seasoning to a bench when she said in a speech: “I simply do not know exactly what the difference will be in my judging, but I accept there will be some based on gender and my Latina heritage.”She is admitting here that Obama WANTS a person on the court who will be empathetic to minorities. Not only that, but she's also saying that Sotomayor is up there LYING about who she is and what she actually believes! She says that we all know Sotomayor's not going to ONLY apply the LAW... that's what mean white men do! Who cares if that's what's IN THE CONSTITUTION.
The judge’s full retreat from the notion that a different life experience is valuable was more than necessary and somewhat disappointing. But, as any clever job applicant knows, you must obscure as well as reveal, so she sidestepped the dreaded empathy questions — even though that’s why the president wants her.
“We apply law to facts,” she told Kyl. “We don’t apply feelings to facts.”
See, liberals look at the Constitution as it was originally written and they see flaws that need to be fixed.

The silent majority
I’m like you. I see the news every day and wonder if the country has finally gone mad. I hear people around me talking and I wonder why they are so blind to the things going on around them. I see the 24 hour coverage on the death of a pedophile and wonder why we’re not covering more of the deaths of our soldiers. I know in my heart the destructive nature of liberalism, but fail to get others to see beyond the pretty words and wonderful promises and understand that everything has consequences.
I know that liberalism has been permeating our culture through Hollywood and the national media. I know that it has also been infecting the hearts and minds of our youth in public schools and Ivy League universities. I know that it seems that the country is populated with those that watch MTV, Comedy Central, and Saturday Night Live for their news.
And like you, many times when I see these things, hear these things, and feel these things, I lose hope.
Like you, I don’t want to lose hope. I want to feel like our country still has those core values that made it so great in the past. I want some kind of proof that we really are good, decent people deep inside that will rise up when needed and stand for what is right.
Well allow me to try to make the case that, yes, we are still a nation of patriots with strong values in the fabric of our souls.
We all remember the overwhelming sense of patriotism after September 11th, 2001. We all remember the flags flying and the common agreement throughout the nation that the United States of America was the greatest country on the planet and nothing could ever change that. That was our true core. That was the silent majority rising up to be heard. Because it was necessary.
After that, the louder voices of the left began to get everyone’s attention again. The media continued their assault on Conservative values. The silent majority was lulled back to sleep.
The silent majority woke again on June 5th, 2004. The death of the greatest Conservative voice of our generation woke the silent majority out of its slumber and an enormous outpouring of affection was a result. People lined the streets to show their respect for Ronald Reagan. Flags flew at half mast throughout the nation. The silent majority knew that a great visionary and leader had passed and would be sorely missed. They wanted to let the world know that they would not allow his vision to die. The silent majority mourned, and once again, went back to sleep.
We have been seeing the silent majority turning fitfully in its siesta, as of late. We see signs that it is once again beginning to awaken. We see the high turnout at the tea parties. We notice the higher ratings of Conservative radio and television in comparison to their liberal counterparts. We see books written by Conservatives being ranked number one in sales by the New York Times. We see the sleeping giant beginning to stir.
Obama and the liberals should fear the awakening, but naturally their conceit won’t allow it. They feel that they control the majority. They feel that the voices rising up are too few. The think the fringe left that follows them so blindly IS the majority of the country. But the TRUE silent majority is being pushed too far and it will awaken. It will not allow the Obamas of the world to destroy the very soul of our country.
The silent majority will awaken. Because it is necessary.
I pity those that stand in its way.

Saracuda
I was just as surprised as the next person at the news of Sarah Palin resigning as Governor of Alaska. The more I think about it, however, I think she might be making a very shrewd move. Being in Alaska, rather than one of the 48 continental states, the only news being filtered to the rest of the country about her was from the national main stream media. We all know how fair and balanced they are about her. By leaving Alaska, she puts herself in a position to put her message and face out there for the whole country to see.
I’ll admit it, Sarah Palin was the only reason I could justify voting for John McCain. She has the core Conservative values we need right now. Not only that, but she has the ability to really annoy the heck out of Liberals and Moderates alike that I really love.
Take for example this guy I used to follow on twitter. He was very anti-Obama, but also very, very anti-Palin. I just found it interesting that Sarah Palin irritated him so much that he joined in with the Democratic Party which he so supposedly despised and trashed her at every opportunity. It seems to me that if you are not only siding with the enemy but also reducing yourself to their childish, name-calling behavior, you might want to take a good look at the man in the mirror. (My one and only tribute to Michael Jackson. Sha-mon)
If Palin irritates the left this much, she must be on the right track. Remember how much they hated Reagan? Now hopefully she’ll get her Conservative message out there more and we’ll finally have someone to rally around. No one else is getting off their butts to do it.
Go Saracuda!
